"An ancient colossus stands guard over the flooded paddies of central Vietnam."

This work imagines a near-future world where megastructures rise from the heart of the rice fields. The scene started as a pencil sketch, then moved into Blender for modeling, lighting, and atmosphere, before being composited in Photoshop and color-graded in Lightroom.

The giant industrial platform, marked 02, towers above the misty wetlands, its weathered hull and sprawling legs rooted in the landscape like a man-made mountain. Below, a small barge carries supplies across the flooded paddies, dwarfed by the machine looming in the haze.

I wanted to evoke the feeling of encountering something monumental and strangely familiar, a structure that feels both ancient and futuristic, as though it has watched over the fields for generations. The birds circling in the distance and the muted colors of the delta hint at quiet life continuing under the shadow of this sleeping guardian.
