Patrol

Low-altitude patrol ships skim the surface of the same alien world, scanning for mineral anomalies and potential threats near extraction zones. These agile crafts operate in pairs, covering deep canyon sectors too unstable for refinery crawlers. The terrain still bears traces of an ancient civilization, structures half-swallowed by erosion and time, hiding secrets beneath the mineral-rich crust.

Process:
Modeled, textured, kit-bashing, and lit in Blender with a focus on a sense of speed, atmospheric motion, and canyon lighting interplay. Final Photoshop and Lightroom pass refined motion blur, light streaks, and subtle depth grading to unify the composition and accentuate the kinetic energy of the patrol flight.

Lore Caption (in-world)
"Patrol log 22-91. Canyon grid four clear. Radiation spikes consistent with sub-surface activity, possibly remnants of ancient tech. Command insists it’s just mineral feedback… but these readings feel alive. Requesting drone follow-up."
